Phlebotomist
Full Time (36-40 hours per week.)Responsible for collection, processing, and distribution of patient specimens for testing adhering to department identification policies. Perform, evaluate, and report patient specimens using point-of-care instrumentation. Demonstrates behavioral skills that contribute to a productive work environment and provides excellent customer service. Performs Phlebotomy and large variety of nontechnical tasks in the department. Helps organize many clerical functions to facilitate communication. High school diploma or equivalent required. Valid Driver's License. Phlebotomy certification (ASCP) preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology preferred. One to three months related experience and/or training preferred.
