Clinical Informatics Associate
Full-Time, 40 hours per week. Assist the EMR Project and Support Analyst with electronic medical record (EMR)/ Clinical Applications maintenance and optimization in joint venture with site end-users, director, managers and IT. High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum two years clinical experience working in the ambulatory/inpatient environment; OR equivalent combination of education and experience (one year of education equals one year of experience). Must be able to take call and respond within 15 minutes. Experience in implementing and supporting electronic medical software (Cerner software experience a plus). Familiarity with clinical workflows and process mapping. Familiarity with Windows, other operating systems as well as desktop and server hardware. Associate degree or higher in Nursing or Clinical Informatics preferred. Knowledge and understanding of Meaningful use and HIPAA preferred. Minimum one year of Information Technology experience preferred. Knowledge of data analysis and report writing preferred.
